Involvement in TASSC

Dr Risbey is a founding Associate member of the Trauma and Stress Specialists Centre in conjunction with Ms Elizabeth Sachse.  He has a special interest in multi-disciplinary treatment of disorders related to trauma and extreme stress.  Dr Risbey has worked extensively with war veterans and currently serving defence personnel, assessing and reporting on eligibility for war-related pensions. He also is experienced in forensic psychiatry assessments for Criminal Injuries Compensation, Motor Vehicle Accidents, and Workers Compensation Injuries.  He has been an expert Court witness in a number of Military cases.  Dr Risbey has extensive experience in working with Psychologists and other mental health professionals, and has been a keen supporter in the development of TASSC.
